In this 6-week blended learning course, you’ll dive into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and discover how to apply it in your workplace. Through a mix of online modules and face-to-face sessions, you’ll gain a practical understanding of AI concepts, tools, and techniques, empowering you to boost efficiency, productivity, and innovation in your role. 

What you’ll learn: 

  • Fundamentals of AI: Covering basic concepts, types of AI, and real-world applications. 
  • AI Tools and Techniques: Focusing on language models, data analysis, and automation tools. 
  • AI for Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Exploring AI’s role in decision support and problem-solving. 
  • AI and Ethics: Emphasising ethical considerations and responsible AI practices. 
  • AI in Project Management and Action Planning: Focusing on AI applications in project management and action planning. 
  • Integrating AI into Work Practices and Future of AI: Conclude by exploring strategies for integrating AI into daily workflows, building efficiency, and examining emerging trends and future applications of AI in the workplace.

Skills Connect offers FREE training courses to all adults across West Yorkshire. Skills Connect is funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority through Gainshare and is part of the LEP’s Futuregoals brand.

Eligibility

Eligibility

Must be aged 19 or over on the course start date. Employed, Self-Employed and Unemployed participants are eligible. Please note: Participants who are ‘Economically Inactive’ are not eligible for this project. Must have the right to legally reside and work in the UK and live in in West Yorkshire. Participants cannot be in full time education or on an apprenticeship at the time of joining. Must not have undertaken a Skills Connect course in the past (an individual can only receive funding for one course).
