Understand Industry and Environmental Protection

The learner will be able to identify industrial sectors that have a significant impact on the environment and state the business case for environmental protection whilst outlining principles of environmental protection and legislation.
The learner will also be able to identify tools or frameworks that organisations can use to protect the environment and able to define the term ‘pollution’ whilst describing pollution control measures.
